Warradale Residence

This gorgeous 60’s timber house in Warradale needed a kitchen with personality, but with a timeless edge that would allow it to stand the test of time (as the house had!)

Several interconnecting walls had been removed to make the large living space – so the overhead cupboards respond to that change in ceiling height – providing a sculptural focal point that brings your eye down from the taller ceiling, while maintaining its volume.

The shelves in front of the existing window tie it in with the kitchen and provide a perfectly lit mini gallery space for the owners fun art collection. A concrete island benchtop and laminate surfaces in two different textures creates a  tough yet relaxed finish.
