Police Credit Union, Adelaide Branch

This project called for a detailed refurbishment of the existing Adelaide Branch, to begin a fresh new era and reflect the new, diverse customer base of this growing brand.

The traditional police checkerboard of the Credit Union logo became the basis for the striped and interlocking carpet pattern, injecting colour and energy into the interior.

To maximise the budget, structural elements including the counter were retained and the facade re-clad with a colour to match the existing granite. Existing partitions were removed to open up the space, and new lighting was installed throughout.

A customer waiting area was also created with bespoke upholstery, and a streamlined display for customer information and community charity promotion.
